Zoxin-Med anti-dandruff shampoo is indicated for the prevention and topical treatment of fungal infections of the skin. Ketoconazole shampoo is particularly effective in treating fungal infections of the scalp, including dandruff caused by a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia. It helps reduce itching, flaking, and inflammation associated with fungal scalp infections.

Indications

• Shampoo is indicated for the prevention and local treatment of fungal skin infections caused by yeasts of the Malassezia genus
• Dandruff of the scalp (exfoliation of the epidermis in the form of white, easily separated scales).
• In seborrheic dermatitis (brownish-red spots on the chest and face that flake off as white or yellow scales).
• In pityriasis versicolor (small, pink-beige or white spots).
• Do not use this shampoo if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

How to use Zoxin-Med anti-dandruff shampoo?

• Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo to water-moistened hair and skin.
• Massage until foam forms. Rinse off after 5 minutes.
• Hair can be pre-washed with ordinary shampoo.
• When treating seborrheic dermatitis or scalp dandruff use 2 times a week for 2 to 4 weeks. Then use once every 2 weeks.
• When treating scalp dandruff use once a day for 5 days.
